No Tears in Heaven..

They say there are no tears in Heaven,
But that must be wrong today.
Because you took part of my broken heart,
When you went away.
I know my tears must have followed you,
How else can it be?
My Spirit feels so broken,
Beause you’re no longer here with me.
They say someday I will accept your passing,
But, right now that can’t be true,
Because part of me is in Heaven,
My tears..... followed you....

God, I know you gave your precious Son
To give us life with You.
But I didn’t want my dad to leave,
Cause he was precious too.
We all are precious in your eyes
And all to you return.
I know my dad will not come back,
And I still have much to learn.
Our time on earth is for learning,
And when our lessons are through,
Our spirit chooses the time we leave,
And we come back to you.
My precious dad is with you,
And there will be a day,
That I too will leave this earthly place,
And you will light my way.
I know your arms will be open,
And I will have a smile,
To see my God and precious dad,
I will then become Your child.
